Creating a beautiful user interface for your Windows application is a complex process In the past it required skills in many disciplines: Windows Forms, Visual Basic, C++,GDI, GDI+, DirectX and more.
.NET 3.0 debuted with a completely new UI programming platform (named Window Presentation Foundation) and it’s going to change the way you and I write user interfaces.
Web development has unique UI challenges too. Silverlight brings WPF to the web programmers toolkit. The first time I saw Silverlight all I could say was ‘Wow!’. It will alter the way you think about creating web UI.
I want to explore WPF and Silverlight and see what they can do. Don’t you?

Walt:
Hey there I hope you had a good holiday and had some time off. I enjoyed hanging out with you at PF Changs 🙂
I wanted to see if we can schedule an interview for the new Infragistics podcast series. I’d love to talk to you about WPF. Specifically I’d like to go into some of your favorite parts of the technology and perhaps tackle a few of the more hard-to-reach topics of WPF.
Let me know…
Thanks,
Craig
